Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (�Terms�) govern access to the LibOTP website, wallet, virtual number activations, recharge tools, and related features (the �Service�). By creating an account, adding balance, or using LibOTP you agree to these Terms, the Privacy Policy, Acceptable Use Policy, and Refund Policy.

1. Service scope

LibOTP provides temporary virtual mobile numbers so you can receive SMS OTP codes for online verification. Numbers are billed from your LibOTP wallet. We do not sell physical SIMs, do not provide voice calling as a default product, and do not operate as a bank or crypto exchange.

• Coverage, operators, and apps depend on third-party SMS providers.
• A number is assigned for a limited window and then expires.
• Prices shown in the app are LibOTP sell prices, not upstream cost.
• Optional features (API, custom apps, voice alerts) may change or be limited by plan.

2. Eligibility and accounts

• You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live).
• You must use the Service only for lawful purposes permitted by these Terms and the AUP.
• You are responsible for all activity under your email, Google login, and wallet ID.
• Keep credentials confidential. We are not responsible for loss from shared or leaked access.

3. Wallet and non-refundable deposits

Wallet deposits (UPI, USDT, or any other recharge method) are final once credited. We do not refund deposit payments to your bank, UPI app, or crypto wallet. Credited balance is for buying LibOTP services only and cannot be withdrawn as cash. See the Refund Policy.

• Balance is deducted when a number is successfully issued (or as stated in the buy flow).
• If purchase fails before a number is issued, we aim not to charge the wallet.
• Cancel / early-cancel rules of providers may limit activation refunds to wallet.
• Wrong-network crypto, wrong token, or wrong UPI ID can result in permanent loss of funds.
• Prices, markup, and packages may change at any time.

4. Service availability disclaimer

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED �AS IS� AND �AS AVAILABLE.� Numbers, SMS delivery, operator stock, UPI uptime, blockchain confirmation, and third-party apps are outside our full control. We do not guarantee that:

• a number will always be in stock for a country, app, or operator;
• an SMS will arrive within a set time, or at all;
• a third-party app will accept a virtual number;
• the website, APIs, or payments will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Maintenance, provider outages, rate limits, and security blocks may pause parts of the Service without notice.

5. Virtual numbers and third-party platforms

• Use numbers only as allowed by law and by the destination app�s terms.
• Many platforms block virtual numbers; bans or failed signups are your risk.
• You must not use LibOTP for fraud, scams, or illegal bypass of security controls (see the Acceptable Use Policy).

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LibOTP, its founder, and operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, lost crypto, failed third-party verification, or business interruption.

Our aggregate liability for claims relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid to LibOTP for the specific transaction giving rise to the claim in the 30 days before the event, or INR 1,000, whichever is greater if a court requires a minimum floor. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be limited under Indian law (including fraud by LibOTP).

7. Account termination

We may suspend or terminate an account immediately, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms, the AUP, payment rules, or applicable law; if we detect abuse, chargeback-style disputes, scripted attacks, or security risk; or if we discontinue the Service.

• On suspension, activations may be cancelled and API access cut off.
• Unused wallet balance is not a cash claim. It may be withheld where needed for fraud prevention or legal compliance.
• You may stop using the Service and request account deletion via Settings or support. Billing and security records may be retained as described in the Privacy Policy.

8. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold LibOTP harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the Service, violation of these Terms, or violation of any law or third-party rights.

9. Intellectual property

LibOTP name, branding, UI, and site content are owned by LibOTP or its licensors. You may not copy, scrape, reverse engineer, or resell the Service without written permission, except as allowed by a separate API agreement.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms. Material changes may be highlighted on the site when practical.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in India shall have exclusive jurisdiction, without limiting any non-waivable consumer protections that apply.
