Terms of Service
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the LibOTP website, wallet, virtual-number activations, recharge tools, and related services (the “Service”). By creating a wallet, registering, or using LibOTP, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy and Acceptable Use Policy.
1. The Service
LibOTP provides temporary SMS / OTP number activations billed from your LibOTP wallet balance. Numbers and SMS delivery depend on third-party providers and network availability. LibOTP does not guarantee that a number will always be available for a given country, service, or operator, or that an SMS will arrive within a specific time.
2. Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction).
- You must use the Service only for lawful purposes.
- You are responsible for all activity under your wallet ID and account credentials.
3. Accounts and wallets
LibOTP may create a guest wallet for you or allow email registration. Your wallet ID and login credentials are sensitive. You must keep them confidential. LibOTP is not responsible for loss resulting from shared, leaked, or guessed wallet IDs or passwords. We may suspend or ban wallets that violate these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy.
4. Pricing and billing
- Sell prices shown in the app are LibOTP prices (not provider cost).
- Balance is deducted when a number is successfully issued according to our buy flow.
- If a purchase fails before a number is issued, we aim not to charge your wallet.
- Cancellations, early cancel denials, and provider rules may limit refunds. Where a refund is not automatic, contact support with your activation ID.
- Prices, markup, and packages may change at any time.
5. Crypto recharges (USDT)
Wallet top-ups may be paid in USDT on supported networks (for example TRC20 or BSC). You must send the correct asset on the correct network to the address shown in the app. Wrong network, wrong token, or wrong address can result in permanent loss of funds. Credit is based on verified on-chain receipt (and applicable rate), not on package labels alone. Minimum deposit amounts may apply. Transaction hashes (TxIDs) may be used only once.
6. Virtual numbers and SMS
- Numbers are temporary and may expire after a limited window.
- You must not use numbers to harass, spam, phish, commit fraud, or bypass platform security or terms of third-party services.
- Third-party platforms may block virtual numbers; LibOTP is not liable for bans or rejected signups on those platforms.
- SMS content is processed to show codes in your account; see the Privacy Policy.
7. Support
You may contact us through in-app support tools. We will try to respond within a reasonable time but do not guarantee response times. Abuse of support channels may result in restricted access.
8. Prohibited conduct
You must follow the Acceptable Use Policy. Violations may lead to immediate suspension, ban, forfeiture of unused balance where required by law or abuse prevention, and reporting to authorities when appropriate.
9. Intellectual property
LibOTP name, branding, UI, and site content are owned by LibOTP or its licensors. You may not copy, scrape, reverse engineer, or resell the Service without written permission, except as allowed by a separate API / reseller agreement.
10. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LIBOTP DISCLAIMS WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant uninterrupted availability, SMS delivery, or fitness for any third-party verification use case.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, LibOTP and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, lost crypto, or business interruption. Our aggregate liability for claims relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid to LibOTP for the specific transaction giving rise to the claim in the 30 days before the event.
12. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold LibOTP harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the Service, violation of these Terms, or violation of any law or third-party rights.
13. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms. Material changes may be highlighted on the site when practical.
